The Live Chat service is aimed at students who have a quick question about their visa or immigration status for studying in the UK. For more complicated questions, a visa advice appointment may be offered.

If you are applying for a Student visa:

Please attend your appointment promptly.Ìý If you need to cancel or re-book your appointment for another time/date, please let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment, so that the booking can be offered to another student.
During the appointment a Visa Advisor will help you check your answers in your online visa application and also check your documents, before you submit and pay for your application.
To fully enrol for your course you will need to complete a Right to ÃÛÌÒTV check and provide the University with evidence of your nationality and immigration status by uploading your documents. Please follow the steps on the Welcome Website
If you have a Student visa you must also attend an in person Right to ÃÛÌÒTV check before starting your course. To book a Right to ÃÛÌÒTV Check please log into your University IT account and book an appointment .Ìý You should book the earliest available appointment after your arrival in Southampton.Ìý
