There are a number of events held across the halls throughout the year, organised by your Residences Support Service and your JCR. Follow the to keep up to date with the latest events, any important updates or reminders relating to the halls such as maintenance works and to engage with other residents.
Throughout the year there are several key dates to be aware of when living in halls. Make sure to check for regular updates on the for more information.
September: Welcome Weekend – the majority of students move into halls this weekend
October: 1st payment due. The exact date can be found on the contracts section of accommodation web portal.
December: Christmas holiday period. Students are not required to move out.
January: 2nd payment due.
Deadline for applications for halls for the next academic year.
Semester 2 students arrive.
March: Easter holiday period (some halls required to move out over this period).
April: 3rd payment due.
June: Moving out begins (36 week contract).
Pre Sessional Course A students move in.
July: Move out for the majority of students (40 week contract).
4th Payment due (long contracts only).
Pre Sessional Course B students move in.
September: Moving dates for Pre Sessional Course students.
Move out for students with 51 week and long contracts.
