Helen's research interests are in the conflicts and injusticies connected with property law and in the inequalities of housing. She is interested in supervising in all areas of property and housing. She takes a social legal and feminist approach to her research and teaching.

Teaching
Helen teaches property law.
Biography
Helen studied law at Oxford and qualified as a solicitor in the 1980s. She was seconded from academia to the Law Commission in the 2000s and joined Kent Law School in 2006. She joined Southampton Law School in 2021.
