Determinants of migration to EU countries
I am an applied economist with a particular interest in migration. I am currently based at the ÃÛÌÒTV where I collaborate to the project andhave a position as a Research Fellowin Economics. Within the frame of QuantMig our research aims at offering a better understanding of the pull factors of migration to Europe. I am also affiliated to the .
Before joining the ÃÛÌÒTV I was a Research and Teaching Assistant (ATER) at the University of Bordeaux, where I also collaborated at the project on migration and innovation.
In 2020 I received my PhD in from the University of Insubria (Varese, Italy). My thesis investigates the relationship between international migration and the development of migrants' countries of origin with a particular focus on the implications of remittances and transfers of ideas.
