Student Feedback
'Jasmine has been my PAT for 3rd and 4th year. She is incredibly knowledgeable and able to answer every question I have had about the course or the content. Jasmine never gets tired of encouraging us to stay motivated and reach the end of whatever we are working on at that time! She is very kind and compassionate, which means that I never worry about going to her to ask for help. We have been very lucky to have Jasmine supporting us.'

"Jasmine is an incredibly supportive teacher and Personal Academic Tutor (PAT). Throughout her 2.5 years at the university, she has made a dedicated effort to ensure that all nursing students feel supported and included in their studies. Outside of making key improvements to our programmes, she has led multiple initiatives to help dual field students establish their identity, instilling confidence in us—especially when we doubt our abilities. As a dual-trained nurse herself, she understands our challenges firsthand and provides effective strategies to balance our well-being while working to achieve our goals.
Jasmine consistently goes above and beyond to help students succeed. Whether offering one-on-one support for personal matters or reviewing our work to ensure we are on the right track, she is always willing to help. During deadline periods, she responds quickly ensuring we never feel like a burden. On a personal level, she has encouraged me to speak my mind on topics I’m passionate about while also supporting me through my academic struggles. She takes the time to provide extra assistance to those who need it and, if she doesn’t have an answer, she actively advocates for us to find solutions. She keeps up on communication, providing answers for any queries student have during the course.
As a lecturer and seminar lead, Jasmine is highly knowledgeable in many topics. Having published articles herself, she continues to stay up to date on new know and she willingly answers our questions—no matter how small—and inspires us to explore topics further. As one of the few dual field lecturers, she connects with us in a unique way, making our learning more relevant and applicable to our practice. During placements she always ensure we feel supported, offering multiple avenues for reflective practice and help if we feel like we are struggling."
