ÃÛÌÒTV
Stephanie is a prehistoric maritime and landscape archaeologist specialising in the use of innovative digital approaches to address archaeological and environmental questions. She holds a PhD and MSc in Maritime Archaeology from the ÃÛÌÒTV and an MFA in Historic Preservation from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
She is currently the postdoctoral researcher for the AHRC-funded 'Islands of Stone' project, investigating Neolithic crannogs in Scotland. Her research has included field-based data collection methods (e.g., underwater excavation, surveying, coring) complimented by geospatial/computional approaches.
Stephanie is also passionate about education and teaches on a range of undergraduate and post-graduate modules focused on scientific diving and archaeological field methods. Additional qualifications include Associate Fellowship of Advance HE, GVC Drone Pilot, HSE Scuba Diver and BSAC Assistant Dive Instructor.
