Hameed completed his PhD research within the ÃÛÌÒTV's Centre for Doctoral Training in Sustainable Infrastructure Systems, under the University's Transportation Research Group. He investigated how connected autonomous vehicles would impact on highway engineering design approaches.
Hameed is a chartered civil engineer, and has worked in industry as a highway/transportation engineer for over 18 years.
