Ìý Entry requirements

Foundation year entry requirements

International Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate degree in management, humanities, arts and social sciences) General Secondary Certificate (Al Thanawiya Al Aama), achieving an overall average of 85% with at least 85% in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course
Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science and geophysics) General Secondary Certificate (Al Thanawiya Al Aama), achieving an overall average of 85% with at least 85% in maths and physics.
Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses)

General Secondary Certificate (Al Thanawiya Al Aama), achieving an overall average of 85% with at least 85% in maths and a science subject

Please note that this course does not progress to an undergraduate degree in medicine.

Undergraduate entry requirements

To be considered forÌýa place onÌýone of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:

High grades in UK AÌýlevels
Between 28 and 38 points in the International Baccalaureate (IB)
Recognised foundation course taken in the UK, AustraliaÌýor Canada

Postgraduate entry requirements

MastersÌýprogrammes

Bachelors degree awarded from a recognised university achieving a minimum GPA of 3.0

UK 1st equivalent: GPA 3.65- 4.0 out of 4.0 or 84% - 100%

UK 2.1 equivalent: GPA 3.0-3.64 out of 4.0 or 76% - 83.9%

Students who have achieved a GPA 2.80 out of 4.0 or 74% with 2 years' work experience may be considered

PhD programmes

Good grades in bachelors and masters degrees awarded by a recognised university,Ìýand a strong research proposal

English language entry requirements
