Entry requirements

Foundation year entry requirements

If you do not have the traditional entry requirements for our undergraduate courses, you may be able to qualify by doing one of our foundation programmes first. To find out more, visit our foundation years page or .

Undergraduate entry requirements

To be considered fora placeon one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:

UK A levels with grades from BBB to A*AA
International Baccalaureate (IB) with grades from 30 to 38
Vysvedčenie o maturitnej skúške achieving grade 1 or 2 in four subjects

Postgraduate entry requirements

Mastersprogrammes Bakalar achieved from 2005 onwards / Magister (awarded before 2003) / Inzinier (awarded before 2003) with Grade C or above, or less than 2.5 - equivalent to a UK 2:1
PhD programmes Good grades in bachelors and masters degrees awarded by a recognised university,and a strong research proposal

TheSlovak student community

We are pleased to welcome students fromSlovakia to the University each year. In 2016/17 we have 16 Slovak studentsstudying with us. We also welcomed 1 Erasmus student from our Slovak partner institutions.
