Foundation year entry requirements
| Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science and geophysics) | National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. |
| Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses) | Ìý
National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 85% in biology and chemistry. Please note that this course does not progress to an undergraduate degree in medicine. |

Undergraduate entry requirements
To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:
| UK A levels obtained in China |
| International Baccalaureate (IB): Between 28 and 38 points |
| First year of a relevant degree from a highly ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 75-88 % |
Ìý Postgraduate entry requirements
Most of our Masters programmes require you to achieve equivalent to a 2.1. Bachelors degree awarded by a high ranked Chinese university with an average grade of at least 70-88%, dependent on awarding institution.

Getting involved in clubs and societies is a great way to meet other students from your country and from around the world.
