Foundation year entry requirements

If you do not have the traditional entry requirements for our undergraduate courses, you may be able to qualify by doing one of our foundation programmes first. To find out more, visit our foundation years page or .

Undergraduate entry requirements

To be considered forÌýa place onÌýone of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:

High grades of above 70% in their 3-year bachelor degree of science, arts or commerce in Bangladesh
Completion of a foundation year in the UK

Postgraduate entry requirements

MSc/ MA/ LLM

AÌýrelevant masters degree at minimum 70% with a bachelorsÌýdegree of at least 3 years

UK 1st degree equivalent: 3.5; 3.2 depending on awarding institution
UK 2:1 degree equivalent: 3.0; 2.75 depending on awarding institution

MSc Engineering

AÌýmasters degree at minimum 60%Ìýwith a bachelors degree of at least 3 years

UK 1st degree equivalent: 3.5; 3.2 depending on awarding institution
UK 2:1 degree equivalent: 3.0; 2.75 depending on awarding institution

PhD programmes

3 year honours degree or 4 year engineering degree with a 1-2 year masters degree

UK 1st degree equivalent: 3.5; 3.2 depending on awarding institution
UK 2.1 degree equivalent: 3.0; 2.75 depending on awarding institution

We are pleased to welcome students fromÌýBangladesh to the University each year. In 2016/17 we have 6 Bangladeshi studentsÌýstudying with us.
