Title: QCD meets Compact Stars
Abstract: We discuss how first-principle results from QCD, as well as controllable approximations of the theory of strong interactions, can bring some hints to the physics of compact stars. In particular, we consider the equation of state for neutron star matter and the role of isospin in a possible new class of stars.
