Causality in theories with a preferred foliation
I will discuss the causal structure of theories which exhibit violations of Lorentz symmetry, with a particular focus on those that admit a preferred foliation (e.g. Horava gravity). I will explore how the concept of a black hole can fit in this picture and how can such black holes differ from those of general relativity.
