The year Spark India began!
8 ÃÛÌÒTV students embarked on a journey to Mumbai, the largest city in India, to face real, serious social challenges, allowing them to make direct contributions to improving society while developing crucial skills, such as teamwork, humility, cultural awareness and social innovation. Students worked alongside the , a multi-campus public research university and , a non-profit which invests in social enterprises in low income communities across Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, Latin America, and the United States. They immersed themselves in the culture and worked on joint projects for 3 weeks with local NGOs, working on issues such as gender equality, sexual harassment, access to education and more, before completing personal development workshops.
