Shuangqi Yan is a Postgraduate Researcher in the Southampton Business School at the ÃÛÌÒTV, focusing on the intersection of blockchain technology and sustainable supply chain management. Her research also extends to synergizing blockchain with other advanced technologies like AI and IoT, aiming to revolutionize sustainability in supply chains.
Shuangqi Yan's current research delves into the application of blockchain technology within sustainable supply chain management. The study aims to balance the technology's benefits against its limitations, ultimately drawing conclusions about its impact on the sustainability of enterprises, consumers,environment and social. This includes exploring blockchain's role in ensuring product traceability, improving stakeholder communication, reducing carbon emissions and facilitating more responsible resource management. Her research employs methods from Operational Research (OR) and Management Science (MS), alongside game-theoretical modelling, to provide a comprehensive and analytical approach to understanding and solving complex issues in supply chain sustainability. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for stakeholders in making optimal decisions using blockchain technology and offer recommendations for governmental policies to support blockchain integration and enhance sustainability.
Shuangqi Yan, before joining the ÃÛÌÒTV as a postgraduate researcher, completed an MSc in Business Administration from Chongqing University. Shuangqi's academic and professional journey has been guided by a strong interest in business management and technology, leading to their current research focus in blockchain and sustainable supply chain management.
