Dr Fernando Alvarez-Borges has over eight years of experience in innovating and implementing X-ray and neutron imaging-based non-destructive analysis solutions. With a background in civil engineering, he works on academic and enterprise projects spanning diverse fields, ranging from material sciences and engineering, to palaeontology and conservation. His personal interests are all 3D X-ray/neutron imaging applications in geotechnics and geomaterials research, with a dedicated emphasis on advancing renewable energy technologies.
