Nana Wang (PhD) appointed to lectureship at the Sichuan Conservatory, China
Congratulations to Nana Wang (PhD) who completed her doctorate at the ÃÛÌÒTV’s Department of Music in 2019, and who has just been appointed to a full-time permanent lectureship at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music in her native China. Her dissertation, for which she was supervised by Professor Mark Everist, studied the reception of Meyerbeer’s 1831 grand opéra Robert le diable through the keyboard arrangements and fantasias composed throughout the nineteenth century. Nana begins work at the Sichuan Conservatory in September 2020.
