Abstract

How is, how should, and how can the Holocaust and its associated histories be represented in museums? In this panel-style event Alexandra Cropper, curator at the Manchester Jewish Museum, discusses the new galleries at the museum and the thinking behind them; Tony Kushner discusses his work with the Imperial War Museum, London, and its ongoing remodeling of the Holocaust exhibition there; Neil Gregor discusses his involvement with the pedagogical plans at the Nuremberg Party Rally Grounds, where the restoration of the iconic, but crumbling Zeppelintribüne is currently underway.
