LKI is Sri Lanka's primary independent international relations think tank with whom Southampton signed an MoU in 2018.
The MoU provides for exchange of expertise and research collaboration particularly in the public policy, marine & maritime and international law spaces. Sri Lanka occupies a key geostrategic location, and its government is paying ever closer attention to ocean issues.
