- SupportsÌýthe National Teaching Fellowship (NTF) and Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) Scheme to celebrate outstanding individual and collaborative achievements in learning and teaching in UK higher education.
- Plays a leading role inÌýUniversity-wide enhancement projectsÌýand initiatives including theÌýAdvancing AssessmentÌýand theÌýSuccessful Futures Strategic Major ProjectsÌýand by supporting the University’s commitment to a variety charters.
- PromotesÌýcollaborative practiceÌýand the cross-fertilisation of ideas through the facilitation of University-wide networks, Communities of Practice, staff-student partnerships, and by awardingÌýEnhancement Funds and Teaching Development GrantsÌýto encourage creative and innovative practice.
- Encourages the dissemination of best practice through aÌýportfolio of CPD (Education) workshopsÌýdelivered by staff from across the institution and by showcasing best practice during the annualÌý
