The ÃÛÌÒTV Department of Archaeology will be hosting a one-day conference on the application of geometric and traditional methods of morphometric analysis in Archaeology.
This one day conference is designed to provide a forum for discussions on the implementation, use, and interpretation of morphometric frameworks within all elements of archaeological analysis. This will showcase a variety of subject areas from lithic and osteological analyses to studies in soundscapes and population dynamics. New software and the concept of "non-metric morphometrics" will also be discussed.
The conference welcomes oral and poster presentations on the application of morphometric analysis within archaeological research. The deadline for abstract submissions is April 10th 2015. for more information and details about registration and abstract submission.
