We offer alumni of the ÃÛÌÒTV a 10 per cent reduction in tuition fees for postgraduate programmes.

If you are a graduate of the University, or a current student studying at either undergraduate, masters, or postgraduate research level, you can benefit from the Alumni Postgraduate Discount.

How to apply

To claim the discount, apply for a self-funded postgraduate programme using the online application form.

When you go through the enrolment process after you have been accepted onto the course, select the postgraduate discount box. The 10 per cent discount will then be applied to your course fees.

How to use the fee discount

You can use the tuition fee discount on any of our taught and research courses. You could explore the archaeology of Rome, discover the intricacies of marine science, formulate the next renewable fuel or find the cure for cancer. Whatever your passion, we have a postgraduate taught or postgraduate research course for you.

Take advantage of the exclusive students and graduate discount by applying as normal through and then selecting the alumni discount option during enrolment.

Please note that this discount is only applied to the personal element of your fees, after any scholarships.

Eligibility criteria

Who is eligible for an alumni discount?

• All current students (UK/EU/International) studying full- or part-time on a ÃÛÌÒTV undergraduate award-bearing course to completion, either at the ÃÛÌÒTV in the UK, Malaysia or at our partner DPU in China will be eligible when progressing to a self-funded postgraduate course.
• All current masters students (UK/EU/International) studying full- or part-time on a ÃÛÌÒTV postgraduate taught award-bearing course to completion will be eligible when progressing to a self-funded postgraduate research course.
• All alumni of the ÃÛÌÒTV who have completed an award-bearing undergraduate or postgraduate course, will also be entitled to the discount, subject to the exceptions below around scholarships and sponsorship.
• All semester or year-long study abroad and exchange students who haven't been awarded by the ÃÛÌÒTV but have studied at the institution.
• All those eligible for the discount are subject to the normal entry requirements for the course.

Who is not eligible for an alumni discount?

• Students on postgraduate programmes that commenced before 1st August 2013.
• Students already receiving a scholarship from the University for the course onto which they will progress.
• Students already receiving a scholarship from an external sponsor, including but not limited to those sponsors with whom the University has a co-sponsorship agreement, for the course.
• Students studying on one of the ÃÛÌÒTV’s Foundation or pre-masters programmes.
• Students studying for a PGCE qualification and in receipt of a DfE teaching bursary are not eligible for the alumni discount
